The days of people speeding on Crom Street while taking a short cut between Union Road and Airport Way are numbered.
The City Council on Tuesday is being asked to authorize the installation of speed lumps along Crom Street.
The speed lumps require motorists to slow down to 15 mph or less to cross.
The speed limit on Crom was lowered in August from 35 mph (which was increased back in 2013) to 30 mph.
That opened the door for residents to ask for speed lumps that can only be placed on streets where the speed limit is 30 mph or less.
