Beginning his journey in viticulture after graduating from California State University, Fresno, Ryan advanced to key positions, driving Duckhorn's evolution from a modest venture to a beacon of luxury wine.

His leadership was marked by strategic expansions and launching acclaimed brands, always emphasizing wine quality.

Ryan’s impactful contribution to the wine industry has been acknowledged with several accolades, including being named among the “Top 100 Most Influential People in the U.S. Wine Industry” and “Wine Executive of the Year.”
