It will be a busy week ahead at the Manteca Unified School District given the various graduations and eighth-grade promotion events.

Unlike the drive-thru events of the past two years, the upcoming special occasions will mark a return to the traditional sit-down events.

On Tuesday, Mossdale (8:45 / 11:45 a.m.), Great Valley (9 a.m.), French Camp (9:30 a.m.), George Komure (10 a.m.), George McParland (10 a.m.), Joshua Cowell (10 a.m.), Neil Hafley (10 a.m.), and Shasta (10 a.m.) will bid farewell to their eighth graders.

Ditto that for those at Golden West (10 a.m.), Joseph Widmer (10 a.m.), Lathrop Elementary (10 a.m.), New Haven (10 a.m.), Online Academy (10 a.m.), Stella Brockman (11 a.m.), Nile Garden (11:15 a.m.), August Knodt (2 p.m.), Lincoln (2 p.m.), Sequoia (2 p.m.), Woodward (2 p.m.), and Brock Elliott / Veritas (2 p.m.) on Wednesday.

The high school graduations will follow with Weston Ranch (6 p.m.), East Union (7 p.m.) and Manteca High (7 p.m.) taking part in their respective stadiums on Thursday.

On Friday, May 27, Lathrop High (6 p.m.) and Sierra High (7 p.m.) will celebrate members of the Class of 2022.
