Halloween comes two weeks early in Lathrop starting today (Friday, Oct. 17).
The Teen Halloween Party will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Grind located in the Lathrop Generations Center, 450 Spartan Wy.
The event sponsored is by the Teen Center staff and the City of Lathrop Youth Advisory Commission. Together, they’re “brewing up a cauldron of fun with wickedly good food, fang-tastic music, and a monster mash of games,” said the City of Lathrop via social media.
The Teen Halloween bash will also feature a costume contest and DJ Erwin behind the mic.
Cost at the door is $20.

Trunk or Treat
The annual Truck-or-Treat event returns Saturday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Lathrop Generations Center, 450 Spartan Wy.
The City of Lathrop in partnership with No Limit Familia – sponsored by Phil Waterford’s Manteca Ford – will feature decorated vehicle for Trick-or-Treaters. Children and their families should make sure to bring a bag, pillowcase, or bucket to collect the candies.
Trunk-or-Treat, in addition, will have a car decoration contest, costume contest, and a live deejay and food trucks.
