An all new Dolby Cinema debuted this past weekend at the AMC Manteca 16 at The Promenade Shops at Orchard Valley.

AMC Theatres — the  largest theatrical exhibitor in the world — said the Manteca auditorium is the: first Dolby Cinema experience to California’s Central Valley.”

This powerful combination transforms every scene into a dramatic, sensory experience that transports moviegoers directly into the story.”

Guests at AMC Manteca 16 can also enjoy spacious, reservable recliners throughout the auditorium

Need your lawn cut?

There’s an app for that

GreenPal, the nation’s leader in on-demand lawn mowing, is launching its service in Manteca this week.

The app allows homeowners to find local, pre-screened lawn professionals.  Homeowners can list their lawns with their service date and lawn care needs. Vetted lawn care pros can then bid on their properties based on Google Street and aerial images and any other lawn details the homeowner provides.

Homeowners can then select who they want to work with based on the vendor’s ratings, reviews, and price.

Once a vendor has completed the service, the lawn care pro will send a time-stamped photo of the completed work.  Homeowners can then pay via the app and set up more appointments.

Nashville-based GreenPal currently operates in several California markets including San Jose, Sacramento, and Fresno.
