Celebrate the end of summer at the Manteca Recreation’s fourth annual Park-a-Palooza on Saturday, Sept. 12, at Woodward Park.

The free entry event is from 5 to 10 p.m.

There will be live music, food trucks, vendors, a beer & wine garden, big trucks, inflatable games, and more.

The band line up includes Norman & The Boyz, Steady Eddy & the Shakers, and the Mike Torres Band.

BMX clinics Saturday

There are two clinics Sunday, Sept. 13, for beginners and novice BMX riders at the Spreckels Park BMX course, Spreckels and Moffat Blvd.

The early session is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. with signups a half hour prior. The second session is from 12:30 to 2 p.m. after racing.

The clinic is $5 unless you are racing then there is no cost.

Helmet, long sleeves, and pants are required.
