The annual observance of Catholic Schools Week continues at St. Anthony of Padua School today with an open house followed by a talent show, both taking place this evening.

Classrooms from kindergarten to eighth grade will be open to parents, friends and other family members of the school's nearly 300 students from 5 to 6 p.m., giving them an opportunity to meet the children's teachers and to take a look of the place where they have their class sessions.

Immediately following the open house will be a talent show from 6 to 8 p.m. featuring various performances by the students. Along with the live program, Principal Susie Dickert said parents and other guests will have the opportunity to view a fine arts display featuring various art projects showing the variety of students' artistic accomplishments.

The talent program will be a variety show with students showing off their artistic abilities in singing, dancing, martial arts, plus comedy/magic skits. The live entertainment may also include solo or group musical instrument numbers. These will all take place in the gymnasium.

Starting off the day is the weekly students' Mass starting at 9 o'clock this morning.
