The 10th annual Red, White & Brew presented by Raymus Homes to benefit free Give Every Child a Chance tutoring is set for Saturday, May 30.
The event features local craft brews, food, music, and raffle prize at the Promenade Shops at Manteca.
The VIP Hour runs from 3 to 4 p.m. followed by general admission from 4 to 7 p.m.
VIP tickets are $65 and general admission tickets are $50.

Firefighters pancake
breakfast Saturday
Manteca firefighters are staging their annual pancake breakfast on Saturday, May 9.
It takes place from 7 to 11 a.m. at Station 1, 290 South Powers Ave.
It is a fundraiser benefitting the Captain Tom Moore Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and sausage.
It is served with coffee, milk and orange juice.
Tickets are $10. Children under 10 are $5.
Skate competition
takes place May 16
The annual skate competition is set for Saturday, May 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the skate park.
The free event is for all ages with online registration for competitors.
All skill levels are welcome.
Skater check-in starts at 6 pm. with competition starting at 7 p.m.
There will be vendors, food trucks, and DJ music.
The evening includes professional demonstrations, a chill out zone, product toss and professional judges.
