Sutter Health is conducting a ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new Lathrop Urgent Care on Wednesday at 9 a.m.

The 7,000 square-foot center featuring three clinical providers supporting walk-in illnesses, injuries and other same-day care needs is located in the shopping center anchored by Target at 16728 Golden Valley Parkway.

The center will be open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekend.

“Lathrop is one of the fastest-growing communities in the region. This new site brings an urgent care option closer to where people live, making it easier to get help quickly and conveniently,” said Amber Campbell, ambulatory CEO for Sutter Health’s Greater Central Valley.

Not-for-profit Sutter Health is answering the call for expanded health care by making a significant commitment to increasing access to physicians and services for patients.

It is doing so not only in communities where Gould Medical Group and Sutter Gould Medical Foundation have long had a presence, but in new and growing Central Valley cities as well, like Lathrop.

Sutter is also planning a two-story, 40,000-square-foot care center in Lathrop that is scheduled to open in 2028 in the River Islands planned community.

It will feature more than 20 full-time providers supporting family and internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics-gynecology, orthopedics and podiatry, cardiology and behavioral health needs.

Lab and advanced imaging services, including those for CT and MRI, will also be available.
