A fast food dining option with a different twist is being proposed for Manteca.

Leer Corp has submitted plans for a Tazza Street Wraps Carryout location at 1566 West Yosemite Avenue.

It is proposed for a small vacant parcel between Manteca Self Storage and the Las Casuelas Mexican restaurant.

It is also across the street from where the proposed 420-unit Prose Apartments complex will tie into the traffic signal at Yosemite Avenue and Winters Drive. That complex will also be built on both sides of Center Street and border the Manteca Gold Course on the north.

It is one of five commercial projects being reviewed by the City of Manteca.
