Ten local girls will be vying for the title of Miss Almond Blossom Festival / Miss Ripon.
The Ripon Chamber of Commerce announced the Almond Blossom 2026 Queen Court – Alayna Sprinkle, Aubrey Carrel, Sydney Isensee, Savannah Parsons-Cunha, Marinah Rodriguez, Hailey Kuennen, Addie Lane, Alexis Zamora, Regan Rodgers, and Isabella Del Toro.
All are local high school juniors.
They’ll be involved in the kick-off event of the 64th annual event, which is the Jan. 8 Speech Contest at Ripon City Hall, 259 M Wilma Ave., beginning at 6 p.m. (5:30 is the social hour).
Each of the candidates will have a chance to speak on behalf of the Almond Blossom Festival grand marshal, The Swiss Club – specifically, its contributions to the community while aligning that with the ABF theme, “Red, White, and Edelweiss.”
Seating is limited. Tickets available at the Ripon Chamber of Commerce office, 104 S. Stockton St.
In addition to the speech contest, each of the queen candidates will be required to sell raffle tickets, do an interview, take part in the annual fashion show, and write an essay.
The Almond Blossom Festival – the Chamber’s biggest event – will be held on the weekend of Feb. 19 through Feb. 26., at the Mistlin Sports Park, 1201 River Rd.
