Two Affirmed Housing Group projects including Manteca’s Magnolia Court are winners of multiple Gold Nugget Awards of Merit from the Pacific Coast Builders Conference.

Affirmed Housing Group will accept the awards at The Gold Nugget Awards Luncheon on June 23, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.  Winners of the Grand Awards will emerge from the Awards of Merit in each category, and will be announced at the luncheon.  With over 400 entries this year, these prestigious awards honor the best developments in the western United States.

The Gold Nugget Awards honor creative achievements in architectural design and land use planning for residential, commercial and industrial projects.  The oldest and largest program of its kind - now in its 48th year - the competition is sponsored and presented by PCBC.

Magnolia Court located behind Dribble’s Car Wash on North Main Street is a Gold Nugget Award of Merit winner in the Green/Sustainable Community category.  Lauded as the greenest all-affordable senior housing community on the West Coast, the project was designed by Studio E Architects, and was recently awarded LEED Platinum Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council.

The affordable senior housing complex was built in partnership with the Manteca Redevelopment Agency.
