RIPON — The Ripon Chamber of Commerce will present their annual installation and awards dinner on Thursday, July 16, at the Spring Creek Golf & Country Club, 1580 E. Spring Creek Drive.
The social will begin at 6 p.m.; no-host bar, dinner at 8 p.m.
Tickets are available at the chamber office located at 929 W. Main Street or from any chamber board of directors. Tickets are $30 per person; tickets will not be available at the door. Deadline to purchase ticket is Friday, July 10. Dinner will be catered by Spring Creek Golf & Country Club with a Mexican cuisine.
New board members are: H. Thomas Beck, attorney-at-law; Helen Caetano, the Tank House Gift Shoppe; Kristine Griesheimer, manager of Oak Valley Community Bank; Elden “Red” Nutt, retired police chief; Danielle Pierce, assistant manager Bank of Stockton; and Dean Uecker, Farmers Insurance.
Returning board members are Lori Adams, real estate; Chief Dennis Bitters, Ripon Consolidated Fire Chief; Ron Doum, Ocean One Travel, Center; Marge Imfeld, Re/Max Executive/Ability Mortgage; Cliff Jorgensen, Allstate Insurance; and Pastor Chuck Roots, Ripon Free Methodist Church.
The chamber will honor the following: Retiring director, Leo Zuber, 2009 business of the year; 2009 Fireman of the year; 2009 Police officer of the year; 2009 Teachers of the year from Ripon Christian Schools and Ripon Unified School District; and 2009 Volunteers of the year.
