Tickets will be available at the door for $5 general admission and $1 for students of all ages and seniors.  There will be no permit required for campus parking around the Auditorium for the evening.
The first half of the program includes pieces with a Spanish flavor such as Capriccio Espagnol by Rimsky-Korsakov and Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquin Rodrigo.  Additional works on the program include Procession of the Sardar by Ippolitov-Ivanov and España Cañi by Marquina.

Joining the Orchestra as guitar soloist for Concierto de Aranjuez is MJC Music Professor David Chapman.  A former Fulbright scholar and international performer, Chapman has toured through England, Germany, Italy, Mexico and China. He also recently directed the Biennial Central Valley Guitar Festival, Guitarraganza in 2014.

The concert concludes with Video Games Live arranged by Ralph Ford. This arrangement includes vibrant music from the games Halo, Civilization IV, Bounty Hunger and Kingdom Hearts.
The Orchestra is composed of a cross section of community musicians including college students, high school students, teachers, local professional musicians, business owners, a lawyer, a farm manager, a chemist, an engineer, and a pilot!
