Alfred Brocchini, 87, entered into rest on June 8, 2012 in Manteca at Doctors Hospital. He was born on September 25, 1924 in San Francisco, Ca. In heaven he joins his daughters Rhonda Consoli and Jamie Brocchini as well as his siblings Alba Myers and Aldo and Albert Brocchini.

Mr. Brocchini is survived by his wife of 46 years Shirley Brocchini. His children are Renee Banovich, Annette Hammond, Rhoda Haines and Donald Liggett. He was blessed by 7 grandchildren; Melissa, Lisa, Shannon, Raina, Liz, Rachel and Ronald. He also had 8 great-grandchildren who he loved dearly.

Alfred was a resident of the Manteca area for 82 years. He attended Manteca High School and went on to proudly serve his country at a young age through the United States Coast Guard/Merchant Marines. After serving his country Alfred was self employed working in Real-estate owning Brocchini Reality for over 25 years. Alfred also owned and operated Brocchini’s Bail Bonds working as an agent for many years. While in real-estate he served as past president of the board of realtors. He was a regular attendee at Cornerstone Community Church where he made many friendships over the past 10 years. Hunting season was one of Alfred’s favorite times of the year as he loved dove hunting with his brothers and nephews. He enjoyed raising horses and cattle and found being out on the farm tending to his animals very relaxing. Alfred was known to appreciate a “great meal” whether it was home cooked or made at a restaurant he loved all types of food. Alfred will be remembered for his reserved yet witty personality but most of all he will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend he will be missed.

P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Brocchini family. A visitation will be held on Wednesday ,June 13, 2012 at 2:30 to 6 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. A second visitation will be held on Thursday June 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. followed by a service at 11:30 a.m. at Cornerstone Community Church 17900 Comconex Rd. Manteca. He will be laid to rest at Parkview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may go to Cornerstone Community Church memorial fund 17900 Comconex Road, Manteca, Ca 95336.
