Alice B. Partin, 67, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 7.  A 39-year resident of Manteca, she was born April 10, 1942 in Bend, OR. She leaves behind her loving husband of 29 years, Michael Partin of Manteca; children, Katheleen Basye & husband Tye of Salida; Richard Partin & wife Margaret of Stockton, Timothy Anderson of Georgia, Doug Partin of Manteca, Brenda Davis of Ripon and one sister, Mary L. Christenson of Idaho. She was also blessed with 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Alice was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Her heart was filled with love for everyone, especially children. She was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She enjoyed cooking and baking; her hobby of baking soon became a career for her. For over 10 years she made cakes for birthdays, weddings or any needed occasion.

Her Lord and Savior held a special place in her life; she was a devoted member of Northgate Community Church and was also involved at First Baptist Church with the Explorers Bible Study Group.

The Family will be holding an open house memorial on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 2 to 5 p.m. at 5216 Cimarron Court, Salida. To help in the continued celebration of her life, the family has requested that a 1960’s theme be carried out in her honor.

Arrangements are under the direction of P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home 290 North Union Road, Manteca. An online guestbook is available for remembrances at www.plfryandson.com.
