Anthony G. Ovando passed away on October 1, 2010 in Manteca.
He was born on January 24, 1962 to Valentine G. Ovando Sr. and Audrey B. (Mora) Ovando. He was a life-long resident of San Joaquin County and worked in the construction field for 16 years. Anthony enjoyed growing plants, bar-b-ques and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughter Angela Baker of Manteca; his mother Audrey Baker; his brothers Michael Ovando of Maryland, Randy Ovando of San Jose, and Mario Tejada of Manteca; his sister Terry Mejia of Lathrop; his grandchildren Analicia, Zion and Amalya Culver, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday October 15, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at the Park View Memorial Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road in Manteca. Services are being handled by Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca.
