Barbara Ann (Smith) Kelly, 77, entered into rest on November 9, in Manteca. She was born on October 7, 1932 in Ottawa, Illinois. Barbara was a resident of Manteca for 46 years.

Mrs. Kelly is survived by her husband of 58 years Ralph “Bud” Kelly of Manteca. She has one son of Manteca, Guy Kelly. In addition Barbara has two surviving brothers Pete Smith and wife Izzy of Manteca and Terry Smith of Wheaton, Illinois.

Barbara worked for Manteca Trailer for six years as a modular home sales-woman. She was a member of the Moose Lodge of Manteca and the Manteca Artist Guild. Barbara lived life to the fullest. Her funloving spirit was always ready for the next big adventure. A few years back Barbara was an avid golfer, earning many accolades. She loved being on the course enjoying the beautiful sun and socializing with her many friends. In the summer Barbara loved to play tennis. Traveling in her RV was a big part of Barbara’s life; she loved to travel back home to Ottawa, Illinois, to visit her many friends and family. Music always put a big smile on her face and in turn she was always ready to dance. Barbara will be remembered for her enthusiastic attitude towards others, always trying to make every event unforgettable.

P.L .Fry & Son Funeral Home is handling all of Mrs. Kelly’s services. At the request of the family Mrs. Kelly’s services are being kept private.
