Corina Elizabeth Montalbo, 87, died Friday, October 9, 2009, at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson. She was born on May 1, 1922 in Petaluma. She lived in Manteca for 2 years, previously in Redwood City for 29 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Antonio Montalbo.

She is survived by her children, Tony Montalbo and wife Dianne of Tracy, Stan Montalbo and wife Carol of Pleasanton, Carole Gordon and husband Wayne of Manteca, Barbara Sample of Redwood City, and Kathy Montalbo and husband Ray Robinson of San Francisco; sibling, Primo Gestra and wife Rosemarie of San Francisco; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; 2 nephews.

Corina loved playing bingo at the Fair Oaks Senior Citizen Center in Redwood City. She enjoyed watching her soap operas and game shows every day. She loved to listen to the radio in the evening.

An online guest book is available at www.plfryandson.com. Arrangements are under the direction of P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. Prayer service is Sunday, October 18, at 3 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son in the chapel, 290 N. Union Road. Final resting place will be private.
