Corrine Louise Aquaro, 83, of Ripon passed away peacefully on Nov. 27, with her family by her side. She was born Nov. 2, 1926 in Grand Island, Nebraska to the late Donald & Lorraine Blair. A resident of Ripon and Manteca for the past 63 years, she worked for over 40 years as the office manager & bookkeeper for the family business.

While attending a U.S.O. dance at the air force base in Grand Island, NE in 1945, Corrine was approached by a handsome young man. He asked her to honor him and join him for a dance, she joyfully agreed and they never stopped. Together they danced for nearly 64 years. They were involved in several clubs, the Dante Club, the Stanislaus Italian & Swiss Club, the Italian Athletic Club of Stockton and the Modesto Ballroom Club.

Mrs. Aquaro leaves behind her dance partner and adoring husband of 63 ½ years, Ralph A. Aquaro of Ripon; five children, Martin Aquaro & wife, Cindra of Manteca, Dona Aquaro of PA, Ellen Aquaro and Louise Aquaro both of Stockton and Ralph R. Aquaro of Manteca. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Ellen Townsend & husband, Earl of NM; and her two loyal cats “Cleo” and “Sissy”.

A devoted wife and mother, she cherished her family dearly. If you had to describe Corrine in a few simple words, the first thing that comes to mind is “a woman of perfection”. When she committed herself in doing something, she always gave it her all. Ralph and Corrine traveled extensively for over 15 years, visiting Europe, Canada, Mexico, Hawaii and the western region of the U.S., treasuring the road trips to visit her sister in New Mexico. Corrine was also a wonderful cook, an excellent seamstress and enjoyed reading.

Corrine will be forever loved and remembered by all that knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Don and Phillip Blair.

Arrangements are under the direction of P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 7, at P.L. Fry & Son. Private arrangements have been made for Corrine’s final resting.
