Deborah Wold, 87, entered into rest on Dec. 18, 2010 in Manteca. She was born on August 27, 1923 in Fresno, California. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ernest C. Wold.

She leaves behind her one and only son Ernest Wold and wife Lauri of Manteca. Her grandchildren are Cori Smith of Ripon, Christine Matzen and husband Dorian of Oakland and Timothy Wold and wife Sara of Lodi. She was blessed to have 3 great-grandchildren: Taeler, Timothy, Joseph and one special addition on the way.

Deborah worked as a credit card manager for over 30 years for JC Penney Department Stores. She was a charter member of Fairway Park Baptist Church in Hayward, CA. Deborah and her husband Ernest were always very proud of being there since their church initiation. Deborah was a talented china painter, doll maker and seamstress. She made cakes for any special occasion including weddings. She was a hard-working person who accomplished anything she set her mind to. Deborah was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She will be missed dearly.

Arrangements for Deborah are under the direction of P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. Services will be Private. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at  San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fairway Park Baptist Church, 425 Gresel Street, Hayward, CA.
