Delphine went home to be with her Lord, Tuesday July 21 at Vintage Faire Rehabilitation care center in Modesto, at the age of 73.  Delphine was born in Pasadena CA; she moved to Modesto in 1981, then to Ripon in 1998.  Delphine was loved by many; especially her family, friends and her two cats “Tuffy” & “Gabby”.  She adored her 10 great grandchildren who only knew her as “Granny”.  Her favorite hobby was collecting cats and going to garage sales.  She was a CNA, Home Care Provider in Modesto for many years along with her co-worker & best friend Ena Turner.  Delphine loved taking care of the elderly.

She is survived in death by her daughter Gail & her husband Greg Gallup of Ripon and her son Roland “Sonny” Carter of Fullerton; seven grandchildren Gregory Gallup of Ripon, Gina Gallup & (Matthew Viviano) of Lodi, Garrett Gallup of Ripon, Ginger & (Shad) Parrish of Ripon, Corey Carter of San Dimas, Crystal Carter of La Verne and Kelly Carter of Huntington Beach; and ten great grandchildren Marcus, Victoria, Jesse, Anthony, Kyoji, Aliyah, Hunter, Xavier, Madelyn and Hayden.  Delphine was preceded in death by two sons; Dwayne Carter & Rodney Carter.
