Donald Phillip Eid has left our world on June 5, 2025 and will be deeply missed by family and friends. He led a long, adventurous life beginning on August 8, 1934 in Newport, KY. His lifelong passion for motorcycles began there on his father's (Leroy Eid) Harley Davidson. Don was a Shop and US History teacher at Manteca High for 20+ years. He also owned and operated Escalon Ornamental Iron Works.

Don is survived by his partner Ann Reeves, daughter Val Davis (Dana), son Robin Leonard, grandson Jeff Leonard (Gwen), granddaughter Jennifer Brown (Randy), and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and cousins. We will remember an adventurer, craftsman, and gentleman who will be forever cherished and always missed.
