Elmer Franscella
July 26, 1939-January 10, 2016
ELMER Franscella bw

Elmer Franscella, 76, entered into eternal rest on January 10, 2016 in Modesto. He was born on July 26, 1939 to Elmer Sr. and Lucy Franscella in Modesto, CA.
Elmer leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Jeanette Franscella of Ripon, and his daughter Michelle Jeanel Franscella and husband Daniel Bowling of Ripon. In addition, Elmer leaves his identical twin brother, Allen Franscella (Pat) of Manteca, his sister Shirley Rome (Charles) of Stockton and brother John Franscella (Carol) of Ripon.
Elmer was a long time Ripon resident. He worked for Simpson Lee Paper in Ripon that would later become Fox River. He would eventually retire after 43 years service.  He was a hard worker, committed and honest.  He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman; always looking for any opportunity to venture into hunting grounds. He had a personality like no other, many would describe him as one of a kind, but of course he had a twin brother, so blessings where double. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, where he attended Sunday mass along  with his wife Jeanette. He loved his daughter dearly; she was the apple of his eye. He will be remembered for his zest for life and his charismatic personality. Elmer will truly be missed.
P.L. Fry and Son is honored to serve the Franscella family. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm followed by a Rosary/Vigil at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. Mass will be Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 10:30am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 19399 East Hwy 120, Ripon, CA.
He will be laid to rest at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, (adjacent to the church). For condolences to the family please visit our website at www.plfryandson.com.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ripon Fire Dept., 142 S. Stockton Ave., Ripon, CA. 95366
