Joan May Hoggarth, 65, passed away in Manteca on September 23, 2009. Joan was born on Jan. 31, 1944 in Hayward, California, where she graduated from Hayward High School.  A homemaker of 15 years, Joan was a devoted mother and grandmother and was involved in the New Hope Church, Manteca Fellowship, and Back to Basics organizations.  She will be dearly missed by many.

Joan was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, David Hoggarth.  She is survived by her daughters, DeeDee Barker and husband Brady, and Debbie Taylor and fiancé Geppetto Krug; her son Shaun Gadroutte; her sister Marilyn Sharp; 5 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A viewing for Joan will take place on Wednesday Sept. 30, 2009 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Park View Memorial Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca, followed by a graveside service at the Park View Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca.
