Johnny M. Anaya, 43, entered into rest on Dec. 18, in Manteca.
He was born on Sept. 21, 1965 in French Camp. He had been a lifetime resident of Manteca.
He is survived by his parents Antonio and Maria Anaya of Manteca; his beloved wife of 3 years Stephanie Anaya; children Haley Maria Anaya of Manteca, Mya Lynn Anaya of Manteca and Cory Atkins of Manteca; siblings Lupe Anaya of Manteca, Tony Anaya Jr. of Manteca, Jenny Hernandez of Riverbank, Gracie Marlow of Manteca, Mary Valdivia of Manteca, Irma Claros of Manteca and Lucy Olvera of Manteca; and father-in-law Tim Atkins of South Dakota. He was also blessed by many nieces and nephews.
Johnny was employed by Anaya Construction for the past 5 years. Growing up in Manteca Johnny attended Lincoln Elementary School and Manteca High School. He was a member St. Anthony’s Catholic Church of Manteca and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Johnny’s whole life revolved around family. He cherished every moment he spent with his children. He treasured special memories and fun times with his nieces and nephews. He loved family BBQs, weddings, and special events that would involve his family and extended family. To remember Johnny is to remember him for his fun loving caring personality. He will be deeply missed by everyone.
Funeral services will be held under the direction of P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Monday, Dec. 22, from 1 to 6 p.m. followed by a rosary at 6 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church 525 E. North St. Manteca. Burial will be at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Escalon.
