Kevin Thomas Byrne, 39, died Wednesday, December 23. He was born on June 20, 1970 and was a resident of Manteca.

Kevin is the husband of Jennifer Byrne and the father of Kailee, Alexander, Joshua, and Jullianna Grace Byrne. Kevin is the son of James and Marilyn Byrne of San Ramos, brother of Garrett Byrne of San Leandro, and Natalie Byrne of Sacramento.

Kevin was born in Walnut Creek and grew up in San Ramon. He attended school in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District and graduated from Venture High School in 1988. He was employed at the New United Motors plant in Fremont for the past thirteen years where he became a team leader and forklift operator. Kevin enjoyed spending time with his family, especially vacation trips.

He and his wife met in high school and were married in 1993. Growing up, he was active in the Boy Scouts of America where he earned his Eagle award in 1983. He played soccer, youth basketball, youth football, and ice hockey.

Friends and family are invited to his funeral service on Saturday, January 2, at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 5025 Crow Canyon Road, San Ramon, CA.
