Manuel C. Santiago,101,of Lathrop, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at his residence. He was born on Friday, September 4, 1908, in El Paso, TX. Manuel was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather, and enjoyed traveling.  

He is survived by his wife Nancy L. Santiago; son, Jack Santiago and wife Adele; daughter Pamela Carlsen; daughter, Judy Brown and husband Ernie; son, Lynn Cardoza and wife Marsha; daugher, Beverly Espinoza and husband Frank; daughter Muriel Kastell and husband Bill; daughter, Joyce Parreira and husband Chris;  son, Bill Cardoza and wife Carol; son, Lawrence Sherman and wife Cindy; brother Sal Santiago and wife Alora; sister Lupe Bruno and husband George; sisters Carol Smith and Velen Jackson;  31 grandchildren, including Jim & Jennifer Santiago, Athena & Natalie Hoover; 55 great-grandchildren, including Jashua, Amanda, Jessica, and Alex; 19 great-great-grandchildren.  

There will be no services at Manuel’s request.  In lieu of flowers please send donations in the name of Manuel Santiago to Hospice of San Joaquin, 3888 Pacific Ave, Stockton, CA 95204.  Park View Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
