When the heavenly kingdom becomes too populated with Dodgers fans, adjustments must be made.  And on December 24th, 2016, the Lord called upon devout San Francisco Giants fan Peter William Skillsky, age 55, of Manteca, CA to add balance to the heavens.  Known as “Pete” by friends and family, he passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home in Manteca, CA surrounded by family.
Born in 1961 in Redwood City, CA to Vance Jon “Jack” and Diane Skillsky, Pete possessed a rock-solid work ethic and unrivaled drive to provide for his family and worked to do so until he could no more. A passionate transportation and logistics expert, Pete was employed by Intermountain Slurry Seal, a division of Granite Construction.  A protector of his family, he enjoyed spending time with them to experience the things that brought him pleasure; Stanford football and San Francisco Giants baseball games, movies (especially “For the Love of the Game”), and playing the lottery every chance he had.  His quick- witted sense of humor could light up the darkest of rooms in a matter of seconds.  With an unparalleled attention to detail, Pete took pride in keeping his yards, vehicles, and tool boxes as meticulous as his Giants jersey.
Pete leaves behind his beloved wife Cindy Skillsky, three daughters; Alexis Skillsky and partner Elias Urena, Rebecca (Skillsky) Hayhurst (Jansen), and Jannah Estruth. Three sons;  Jonathon Skillsky (Fantasia), Steven Skillsky (Fiancé Stephanie Danielski), and John Estruth.  Brothers,  Patrick Skillsky and Jeff Skillsky (Melissa), and sister Christine (Skillsky) Geraghty (Fred). Grandchildren; Zoie, Shey, Emerson, Mason, Mya, and Kinleigh, numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved father; Vance Jon “Jack” Skillsky.  Pete was preceded in death by his mother Diane.
