Sally Jean Williams, 87, entered into rest on November 19, 2019, at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson, CA.  She was born in Oakland, CA on May 13, 1932.  
   She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Williams and her brother Lee Pezzola.
   Mrs. Williams is survived by her two sons, Jeffery and Gregory Williams and five grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren.
   Sally was employed with Manteca Unified School District for thirty years.  She was the Secretary for Shasta Elementary School from its inception working under Bill Pinto for twenty-three of those years.  She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church where she joyfully provided food for events.  Sally was also an active member of Manteca Federated Women’s Club.  She also volunteered at the Manteca Historical Society as a docent.  In her spare time, Sally was an avid reader. She enjoyed playing card games, she liked to grow her own herbs, enjoyed cooking and taking trips to her Lake Tahoe cabin.  She knitted and made cross stitch blankets for all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as donating them for babies at the county hospital.  Sally will be remembered for her kindness and the love she displayed towards others.
   P.L. Fry and Sons is honored to be serving the Williams family. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 910 E. North Street, Manteca, CA.
