Troy Lane Vick, age 32, entered into rest on January 13, 2013 in Tracy.  He was born on November 15, 1980 in Modesto.  He was a resident of Manteca for 32 years.

Troy leaves behind his father, Todd Lane Vick of Manteca and his mother, Juley Lakey of Havre, MT.; his grandfather, Walker Vick of Manteca; his grandparents, Phyllis Jamison and husband, Ralph of Manteca, Eldon and Mary Buck of Ripon; and his grandfather, Tommy Lakey of Havre, MT.  Troy also leaves behind his sister, Tara Garrison of Salida and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Troy was a US Army veteran from 2000 to 2004, where he served with the Fifth Special Forces group at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky with two tours in Iraq. Troy graduated from Sierra High School where he participated in athletics.  He attended Modesto Junior College prior to enlisting with the Army.  After he was discharged from the Army, he spent time honing his poker skills in Las Vegas and Florida.  He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.

PL Fry & Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca, is honored to be serving the Vick family.  A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013 at 11:00am at Crossroads Grace Community Church, 1505 Moffat Blvd, Manteca.  A private graveside service with full military honors, will be held at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, 32053 W. McCabe Road, Gustine.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Troy Vick Memorial Athletic Fund c/o Delta Bank (Account# 121132983), 611 N.
