Leroy Cunningham, 97, passed away peacefully at his home of 70 years in Ripon on September 20, 2026. Leroy was born to parents Royal and Lydia Cunningham on August 4, 1929 in Pryor, Oklahoma.

    He was a resident of Ripon for most of his life. He was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ripon for over 70 years. He started out as a Dairyman, hay hauler, then custom manure spreading all while building equipment and farming. He was out in his manufacturing shop up until the last weeks of his life. He really enjoyed hunting when he wasn’t busy working. He will be remembered for being a hard worker, being able to build anything with no blue prints, always telling a joke or two, love and support for his family, and most importantly his love for God.

   Leroy missed his loving wife Annabelle after her death in 2022 thinking of her everyday. Leroy leaves behind his children, Cheryl Lynn Cunningham, Rosalie Sartin (Randy), and Bruce Cunningham, his grandchildren, Joshua Cunningham (Sandra), Janelle Cunningham- Vilmur (Austin), Regina Vincent (Tony), and Kris Ray (Shelby) along with his great-grandchildren, Jayden, Mason, Makayla, McKinzy, Luke and Jacob. He was preceded in death by his wife Annabelle and daughter Bonnie Ray.

   Donations in Leroy’s memory may be made to Ripon Christian schools or Ripon Presbyterian Church of Ripon. Leroy’s family would like to acknowledge his caregivers, Eva Guerra and Sandra Cunningham who went above and beyond to make his last few years very enjoyable.
