Georgina A. Loureiro Teicheira was born on July 3, 1926, in Manteca, California, and peacefully passed away on September 12, 2026, at the remarkable age of 100. A lifelong resident of Manteca, Georgina witnessed a century of change while remaining rooted in the community, her Portuguese heritage, and, most importantly, her family.
Georgina was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Teicheira Sr.; her grandson, Daniel Teicheira; son-in-law, Jerry Johannsen; daughter-in-law, Nancy Teicheira; and siblings, Lillian Silveira and Mike Loureiro.
She is survived by her children, Dolores Johannsen, Frank Teicheira, Jeanne Teicheira, Mary Ann Young (Paul), and Margaret Teicheira; and her sister, Angie Clausen.
Georgina was a proud grandmother to Jerry (Tenneill), Teri (Killeen), Frank III (Sarah), Steven (Kelly), Ryan (Jennifer), Scott (Carla), Lori (Dave), Lisa (Seanee), and Leslie (Miguel). Her family continued to grow through the generations, and she was blessed with great-grandchildren Willie, Kaileah, Jilleen, Frank IV, Danielle, Devin, Anthony, Isabella, Gabrielle, Daniel II, Whitney, Dylan, Scott Jr., Marcus, Alyssa, Jayden, Jace, Indiana, August, Eros, Millie, Zoey, and Eli; and great-great-grandchildren Laynie, Fitz, Kaiden, Koah, and Sebastian.
A devoted homemaker for 80 years, Georgina dedicated her life to caring for her home and family. She was also instrumental in the family dairy business, Frank Teicheira and Son, working alongside her husband, Frank. Georgina faithfully kept the books for the dairy until she was 90 years old, a testament to her dedication and strong work ethic. Proud of her Portuguese heritage, Georgina was a longtime member of the MRPS Hall, where she served as president. She was also a devoted member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. In her free time, Georgina enjoyed trips to Black Oak and other local casinos, as well as camping with family at Pinecrest. Although reserved by nature, Georgina found her greatest happiness surrounded by those she loved. She especially cherished the holidays and family gatherings, when everyone could come together. For Georgina, family was always at the center of everything. The time spent together, the traditions shared, and simply having those she loved nearby.

Visitation will be on Monday, September 28, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. both held at P.L Fry and Son Chapel, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, Ca. A Mass in her honor will be on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 525 E. North St., Manteca, Ca.
