Virginia Winslow

Virginia Winslow, 98, entered into rest on Nov. 29, 2009 in Manteca, California. She was born April 4, 1911 in Stockton California to the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar and Stella Larson.  She joins her parents in heaven as well as her husband Harold Winslow.

Mrs. Winslow is survived by her loving children Roger Winslow and wife Debra Kearey of Manteca, MaryAnn Kackley and husband Ron of Manteca, Dale Winslow of Missouri and Neal Winslow of Missouri. In addition Virginia was blessed by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Virginia was a homemaker dedicating her life to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a resident of Manteca for 57 years. She attended St. Anthony’s Catholic Church of Manteca. She was an avid 49er fan and enjoyed tending to her yard.

Mrs. Winslow’s services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. A memorial prayer service will be held in her honor on Friday, Dec. 11, 2009 at 1 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. A graveside service will follow at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
