Walton “Jan” Parsley, 84, entered into rest on October 15, 2020 in Stockton, CA. He was born in Leachville, Arkansas on January 4, 1936. He was a previous resident of Pleasanton and Valley Springs before moving to Manteca 8 years ago.
   Mr. Parsley is survived by his loving family, wife of 33 years, Barbara, children, Sheryl Young (Ron) and David Parsley (Michelle), and step-daughters, Tracey Bledsoe (Jeff), Leah Silvestre and Wendy Bledsoe, along with seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and one brother Harold Parsley.
   Jan was a member of Sprinkler Fitters Local 483 where he installed commercial sprinkler systems in the Silicon Valley. He proudly served his country through the United States Air Force where he was honorably discharged in 1961. He enjoyed traveling in his RV, gardening and appreciated a great meal. He was a master griller and loved BBQ’ing for the family. Jan will be remembered for his fun loving infectious personality and caring spirit. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
