Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

I would like to give “Kudos” to our new Congressman Josh Harder. On Monday, Jan. 21 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) Congressman Harder took the time to meet with his constituents in Manteca. 

His willingness to meet us one on one or in a group situation was a breath of fresh air. I’m hoping that this will be the first of many get togethers. He spoke about his first days in Washington, DC ,and let us know the House is working hard to reopen the government. He showed concern for the Farmers and the Families of San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties that are affected by the shutdown. 

He was very receptive to our comments and assured us he would bring our concerns to Washington. I have every confidence that Josh Harder will be transparent and continue to have open communications with all his constituents.
