Save the smelt by cutting off water to LA

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,
I have been watching the “NEW” mainstream news on TV, and I can tell you I am so happy with this “change” stuff. Change is among all of us, everyday. Now we can get all the news fair and balanced.

This leads me to an issue I knew very little about. It is the water issue in the Fresno area, more specifically the Delta Smelt that is a two-inch that reproduces by the millions. If Sen. Dianne Feinstein is so in favor of saving these little guys, then she should turn off “all the pumps” from pumping water to the Los Angeles Basin, and save all the fish. The fish now go through those pumps and are made into mush and die for nothing. They give back nothing. They feed nothing. At least if the fish can go into the irrigation system, let the farmers have them for fertilizer, the same way the Indians did. You can’t get any greener than that. So, what’s the problem?

Feinstein voted against turning on the water, “because it is a more complicated issue than when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor”.  So what does that have to do with the price of tea in China?

So, to Feinstein I say this in the words of Admiral Yamamoto, December 7, 1941 after the sneak attack on our freedom,”All we have done is awaken a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve.”

God bless America and God bless Fox News.
