The issue regarding levees near Airport Way was discussed at the last Manteca City Council meeting.

Mayor Steve DeBrum and his sidekick Councilman Richard Silverman said “it’s time to take the bull by the horns” to settle this issue. “Taking the bull by the horns” is DeBrum’s way of saying that he is the big boss man — do things his way or the highway. “Strongman” Silverman will no doubt have to “wrestle with this issue as he did with whether to vote to have Vince Hernandez return to the City Council.

Silverman is snow jobbing the residents involved. He will no doubt tell them they will be given serious concern on this issue when all along Silverman knows big shot developers will come out on top of this issue.

Hernandez and Silverman both speak with a forked tongue.
