Some letters arent worthy of readers time

Editor, Manteca Bulletin,

I am a long-time subscriber to your paper. I regularly read the “Your Views” section, and from time to time, submit my view.

Over the past few years, there has been a back-and-forth banter between a few readers on both sides of the political parties.

Seems these people just want to attack one another and try to prove they are right and everyone from the other party is wrong. James Simoni for one, continues to submit views that are almost comical. I am sure that he writes his letters and then laughs hysterically as he proofreads them. I am convinced he runs down his driveway to see if his view got posted.

The problem is, he is not funny. He offers nothing to your readers. He creates nicknames for people that are really only funny in his own mind. If you are going to publish views with a 3rd-grade humor, please put in a disclaimer. James has never offered a view that was worth your readers’ time.
