Finally, after 10 years of foot dragging on a simple task of putting in a crosswalk at Hutchings Street and South Powers Avenue by the City’s Public Works Department for the children living in Curran Grove who attend Lincoln School is completed.

This simple job that took barely one week to do after 10 years has finally been done.

Many thanks to Councilwoman Debbie Moorhead who made the extra effort to get this simple job done. Good job, Councilwoman Debbie. You are doing a good job. Keep up the good work. No thanks to Councilman Vince Hernandez who did however show some concern but “very little.”

Councilman Hernandez should seek employment with the city as “an alley inspector.”
