Uncle Sams personal defense weapons

It seems as if our government is practicing the old "Do as I say, not as I do" adage. Why has the Department of Homeland Security placed an order to purchase 7,000 fully automatic AR-15s? They only operate in the U.S. Why do they need the weapons? Who are they going to use them on? Are you a person that the weapons will be used against?

Why is the government calling them personal defense weapons and not assault weapons? They are the true assault weapons as they fire full automatic, not semi-automatic as the civilian AR-15. Semi-auto means it only fires with each trigger pull. Fully auto means it fires as long as the trigger is depressed. Why does a government agency need fully automatic weapons? If an issue arises they can contact the local law enforcement agency for assistance.

Obama said he wanted a civilian military as strong as the military when he was first elected. It appears he is now developing his private army. It happened in the 1930s in Europe. It looks as if it is happening here.

Read the following quotes and decide which policy our government is following.

"Those now possessing weapons and ammunition are at once to turn them over to the local police authority........Whoever willfully or negligently violates the provisions will be punished with imprisonment and a fine."- Nazi Law against the Jews-1938.

"Are we at last brought to such an humiliating and debasing degradation that we cannot be trusted with arms for our own defense?" - Patrick Henry
