“It was great to have the girls back out on the course competing,” Timberwolves coach Justin Crowe said. “Mikaella (Manto) picked up right where she left off last spring playing very well and helping the team.
“We are looking forward to another strong team performance at Swenson next week for the first 18-hole VOL tournament.”
Sierra’s Julia Erdman checked in with a 52 followed by Anna Dickinson (58), Kate Berdiago (69) and Marissa Alvarez (70).
Mohrgen Kisse and Emalyne Lundbalm paced the Buffaloes with both shooting a 54.
“I know the girls were excited to get on the course, and a return to normalcy,” Manteca coach Ron Gross said. “They are looking forward to the season ahead.”
Following Kissee and Lundbalm were Aleah Melendez (70) and Alyssa Gonzales and Jasmine Nieto with 73 apiece.
Ripon 147, Amador DQ
Paced by Gabbi Ilardi’s 30 on the par-31 Jack Tone Golf Course, all five of the Indians who scored bested the Buffaloes’ low scorer. Ripon is now 4-0 in the Valley Foothill League North Division.
Following Ilardi for Ripon were Katie Martin (37), Zoe Bremmer (38), Ana DiGiulio (42) and Vivian Parsons (43).
Cadence Lentz (47) paced short-handed Amador (0-2) with a 47.
