Amanda Fernandez and Godwina Ogbeide each won three-set matches, helping Lathrop's girls tennis team clinch a 6-3 win over Grace Davis in a make-up match Tuesday at Manteca Regional Tennis Center.
The Western Athletic Conference contest was originally scheduled for last Wednesday, March 10 but rained out.
Fernandez outlasted Saviyah Heidelburg King 6-3, 3-6, 7-6 (6) in the No. 2 singles match. At No. 6, Ogbeide fended off Emma Brasiel, 3-6, 6-0, 6-4. Hailey Hunter also prevailed from the No. 4 spot, defeating Aspen Kelly, 6-0, 6-3.
Lathrop won all three doubles matches, with Grace Davis forfeiting at No. 3. Ruby Chavez and Madelynn Romero rolled to a 6-2, 6-0 win, while Janelle Lat and Suhani Banwait cruised, 6-1, 6-1.
Aydryanna Ege won the No. 1 singles match for Grace Davis, 6-1, 6-0.

Quentin Banks blanked Jimmy Homer 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles for one of Sierra's two wins on Tuesday.
Zach Van Zwaluenberg took the third singles match 6-1, 6-2 against Ethan Dingu. The Timberwolves had a near-miss at No. 5 singles, where Aaron Crawford fell short 6-3, 4-6, 4-6 to Carson Stueve.
The No. 1 doubles showdown also went to a third set, but Rohin Sandhu and David Martin III could not get over the hump in a 6-3, 3-6, 10-12 defeat to Jacob Sponsel and Jeremiah Johansen.
