STOCKTON (AP) — Arturo Nieto hit an RBI double in the top of the 11th inning to lead the Modesto Nuts to a 4-3 win over the Stockton Ports on Wednesday.
Donnie Walton scored the go-ahead run on the double after he led off the inning with a double and advanced to third on a double by Nieto.
Bryan Bonnell struck Seth Brown out with a runner on first to end the game for his third save of the season.
The Ports tied the game 3-3 in the ninth when Brown hit a solo home run.
Reliever Matthew Festa (4-2) picked up the win after he struck out five while allowing one run and one hit over two innings.
Nolan Blackwood (0-4) went 1 1/3 innings, allowing one run and two hits in the California League game.
Rayder Ascanio homered and singled in the win. Brown homered and singled twice for the Ports.
