Wilson slugs go-ahead HR in 9th for Visalia

STOCKTON (AP) — Marcus Wilson hit a three-run home run in the ninth inning, leading the Visalia Rawhide to a 5-3 win over the Stockton Ports in the best-of-5 California League Division Finals series opener Wednesday.

The Ports will look to even the score tonight starting at 7:10.

The home run by Wilson scored Camden Duzenack and Jazz Chisholm to give the Rawhide a 5-2 lead.

In the bottom of the ninth, Stockton cut into the lead on a solo home run by Viosergy Rosa.

West Tunnell (2-0) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Pat Krall (4-2) took the loss. Matt Brill recorded his sixth save of the season.
