Vinny Diaz ran for a pair of touchdowns, and Brach Carabello threw for two more Saturday to help lead the Manteca Jr. Buffaloes varsity to a 54-0 shellacking of the visiting Ceres Jr. Bulldogs in Central Valley Youth Football and Cheer action at Guss Schmiedt Field.
Diaz (four carries, 74 yards; catch, 18 yards) scored on 1- and 35-yard runs, Brach Carabello (80 yards passing) connected with Navi Murillo for a 51-yard touchdown pass and one of 5 yards to Aizen English. Murillo added a 5-yard touchdown run, Israel Juarez (two carries, 46 yards) scored on a 15-yard run and Ethan Bonderer returned a punt 60 yards for a score.
Manteca’s Kristian Miranda made seven tackles, Vinny Diaz five with four each for English and Grant Catalano. Murillo snagged an interception.
Manteca Cowboys 46, Mudville Outlaws 7
Mateo Salcido and Aiden Howe each ran for a pair of Cowboys touchdowns at Stagg High School in Stockton.
Howe (eight carries, 93 yards) scored on runs of 16 and 35 yards, while Salcido added 1- and 9-yard scoring runs. Nicholas Rangel added a 3-yard touchdown run and Mateo Montez scored on a 50-yard scoop and score. David Espinoza, Naca Bluehorse and Noah Cedano all contributed to the offense.
Rangel (fumble recovery), Josiah Hopkins (fumble recovery) and Howe made four tackles apiece and Montez three. Ernesto Cruz recovered a fumble while Mateo Ramirez and Juan Carlos Salcido contributed to the defense.

Logan Martinez put up 130 yards of offense for the host Spartans at Bennie Gatto Field.
Martinez gained 96 rushing yards on 11 carries and 34 yards on two receptions with a 48-yard rushing touchdown. Kennith Certuche ran for a 10-yard touchdown and Jackson Guardiola threw a 15-yard touchdown pass. Zyann Rheyno gained 42 yards on seven carries and Johnny Silvas and Alluis Lopez contributed to the offense.
Lathrop’s Manuel Lupercio made nine tackles, blocked a punt and recovered a fumble. Logan Martinez (fumble recovery), Juan Pablo Flores and Carlos Rivera added eight stops, Carlos Guiterrez seven with six each for Pablo Barba and Robert Johnson Jr.

Manteca’s Quinnie Dunbar scored a pair of touchdowns
Dunbar (92 yards rushing) tallied 10- and 15-yard scoring runs. Dennis Jet Johnson (three carries, 98 yards rushing; 43 yards receiving) ran for a 60-yard score and Dre Johnson ran in 2-yard scoring run. Jayden Jordan gained 76 yards on six carries and A.J. Hines tallied 43 yards passing.
Dunbar made six tackles, Adrian Reyes-Echeverria five and Gabriel Torres three. Johnson, Eliseo Colchado, Wyatt Hernandez and Jayden Jordan all contributed to the defense.

Manteca’s C.J. Stevens posted two touchdowns.
Stevens gained 85 yards on seven carries and A.J. Aguirre (five carries, 45 yards) added a rushing touchdown. Edward Torres III scored on a 3-yard run and Ruben Cedano chipped in 41 yards on three carries.
Aguirre tallied seven tackles, Ivan Torres five with four each for Hudson Green interception) and Stevens.

Romo hit Mariano Rivas with a 16-yard touchdown pass and Claudio Rivera with one for 21 yards. Dominic Ramos (13 carries, 68 yards) scored on a 10-yard run and Ethan Jones (seven carries, 56 yards) scored from 5 yards out.
Denzel Taani-Taufui made eight tackles for the Jr. Spartans, Jace Williams seven, Fabian Islas six and Joshia Lopez five. Romo added an interception.

Jeremiah Williams and Jessy Arceo combined for five touchdowns and more than 400 rushing yards.
Williams (14 carries, 225 yards) scored runs from 3, 11, 48 and 78 yards. Arceo (14 carries, 197 yards) scored on a 25-yard run, Jeremiah Talavera scored on a 1-yard plunge and Harrison Catalano added a 10-yard touchdown run.
Michael Somera posted seven tackles, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble, Williams four tackles and a fumble recovery with three each for Arceo (fumble recovery) and Gilbert Maldonado.

Certuche (seven carries, 66 yards) scored on a 41-yard run and Jimenez pulled in an 8-yard touchdown pass from Liam Sipp. Marshall Johnwell contributed to the offense.
Villiami Luakai paced the Spartan with 10 tackles. Marshall Johnwell added eight stops, Jasean Baker six and Gilbert Arreola (forced fumble, fumble recovery) four.

Brixxton Fryer and Carter Louis ran wild for Manteca with seven combined touchdowns and nearly 400 rushing yards.
Fryer (five carries, 222 yards) scored on runs of 44, 50, 55 and 61 yards while Louis scored on all three of his touches on runs of 50, 55 and 60 yards. Malachi Wright added a 68-yard touchdown run.
Louis and Kayden Edwards made eight tackles each, Jose Cortez Jr. and Easton Franco four apiece with three each for Adrian Mena, Liam Horning, Tobias Valentine, Tate Gallardo, and Brixxton Fryer.
