The 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie crew cab 4X4 is every bit a truck.

But it rides like a car.

That’s according to Cliff Rogers, internet sales manager at Cabral Chrysler Jeep Suzuki, 1145 W. Yosemite Ave., Manteca.

The reason for the smooth ride on the newest Dodge Ram 1500, he said, is the rear suspension of plush coil springs rather than the traditional stiff-riding rear leaf springs.

The Laramie is the high edition or top-of-the-line Dodge Ram. The base price starts at $23,000 on up.

The one showcased at Cabral is equipped with a 3.7-liter Hemi V8 (390 HP), with the maximum towing capacity when properly equipped at 10.250 pounds.

The transmission options are six-speed manual and four-speed automatic.

The Dodge Ram has been around for decades. But in the mid-1990s, the truck went through a major full-sized redesign.

The current fourth-generation model debuted in 2009.
The 2011 Dodge Ram has a roomy crew cab interior that can sit up to five people quite comfortably.

For added comfort, the seats are heated and air conditioned.

It also comes with a navigation system consisting of a rear back-up camera.

Upgrades can include the off-road package, key-less remote start, rear-seat DVD entertainment system or Bluetooth connectivity.

The new Dodge Ram, in addition, comes with a three-year / 36,000-mile, bumper-to-bumper warranty, and a five-year / 100,000-mile power train warranty.

Cabral Motors is family-owned since 1957. It offers no-hassle and best of service, before and after the sale, according to Rogers.
