The Downtown Business District is hosting a Cinco de Mayo festival Saturday, May 2, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Library Park.
The event includes music, a car show, food trucks, and vendors.

Manteca firefighters are staging their annual pancake breakfast on Saturday, May 9.
It takes place from 7 to 11 a.m. at Station 1, 290 South Powers Ave.
It is a fundraiser benefitting the Captain Tom Moore Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and sausage.
It is served with coffee, milk and orange juice.
Tickets are $10. Children under 10 are $5.

The Manteca Historical Society museum’s annual Spring Vintage Sale is Saturday, May 16, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
It takes place in the museum parking lot at 600 W. Yosemite Ave.
The Manteca Historical Society Museum Kids Club is Saturday, April 30, at 10 a.m.
The free event will be held at the museum 600 W. Yosemite Ave. every last Saturday of each month.
It includes story time, arts, crafts, and exploring the museum exhibits.
