The 2011 Kia Optima is coming soon to Manteca.

The latest model of the midsize sedan was unveiled at the 2010 New York International Auto Show. It was tabbed as the next generation of Optima that continues Kia’s design-led transformation – high-performance yet elegant image.

Kia Country is located at 1515 N. Main St.

What makes the Optima click? Try looking under the hood and inside the cabin with the introduction of three new power trains – including is the first-ever Kia hybrid in the U.S. – which is designed to increase power and fuel economy.

This Kia comes with a direct-injection, 2.4-liter inline-four cylinder engine that’s available in the base LX trim with either a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic.

The Optima also has dual exhaust with chrome tips, turn signals integrated into the mirror housings equipped with a sound system – featured is the Sirius satellite radio and USB, auxiliary, and Bluetooth connectivity – a tilting and telescoping steering wheels, and power locks and windows that come standard on the base LX model.

All automatic models come with cruise control.

In addition, Kia offers a variety of wheel sizes: LX models wear 16s, EXs has 17s, and SX rolls on 18s.

The Optima is projected to have a sticker price, ranging from$18,000 to $23,000.
