MODESTO - The Modesto Garden Club’s Saturday, May 7, Annual Spring Tour of Town & Country Gardens provides a look at eight private gardens in town and country settings and the Modesto Garden Club office garden.
Tickets include detailed maps and other information for each garden. Ticket prices are $20 for adults and $10 for children under the age of 10 (no strollers allowed).
Tour highlights include whimsical, historical and modern outdoor art, outdoor kitchens, water features, a water-wise small-spaced garden, innovative concrete work, tranquil spaces with layers of texture and color, a Mediterranean fantasy, a country garden complete with barn, and beautiful flowers and landscaping in all the settings.
Tickets are now on sale at the following locations:
•Escalon: P& L Concrete & Garden Center, 1900 Roosevelt Avenue;
•Riverbank: Morris Nursery, 1909 Patterson;
•Ripon: Park Greenhouse, 12813 W. Ripon Road;
